Christmas Light Installation in Dunwoody
Dunwoody is the DeKalb city north of Brookhaven and east of GA-400. It is not Sandy Springs, even though Perimeter Center straddles the line, and it is not Brookhaven, even though Murphey Candler is the landmark people use heading south.
Most houses are 30338. Some Perimeter and Georgetown addresses are 30346. If the ZIP is different, send it anyway.
Call or text 404-514-8908 or request a free Dunwoody quote. This is a full-service seasonal installation: we provide the lights, design and install the display, fix bulbs during the season at no extra charge, then take it down and store it. You don't need to buy any. Pricing is per linear foot.
Dunwoody Village and Mount Vernon
Dunwoody Village, at Chamblee Dunwoody Road and Mount Vernon Road, is the center of town. The shops are the landmark. The jobs are the houses on the streets just off that intersection: traditional homes, renovated ranches, and a few newer builds on lots that were cleared of pines.
Mount Vernon Road runs west toward Sandy Springs. Houses along it and on the side streets sit under a mix of hardwoods and old pines. A roof-only line often disappears into that canopy, so a Dunwoody quote usually includes one or two trees at the drive as well as the eaves.
Dunwoody Club and the west side
Dunwoody Club Drive and the neighborhoods between the Village and GA-400 are larger lots than the streets near the shops. Setbacks are deeper, roofs break into more gables, and the front yard can hold a big pine that matters more than another strand on a side gable.
This side of the city faces Sandy Springs across the highway. If your mail says Sandy Springs but you think of the house as Dunwoody, use the city on the address. Both pages reach the same form.
Georgetown and the Perimeter side
Georgetown, down Chamblee Dunwoody Road toward I-285, is a different Dunwoody: more townhomes, condos, and houses tucked behind a busier commercial strip. A townhome quote covers the facade and entry you control. An office front near Perimeter Center, including the buildings on the Dunwoody side of the line, is commercial lighting and gets its own quote.
Brook Run Park and the Dunwoody Nature Center are useful for directions. We light the houses, not the parks.
What to photograph
Dunwoody roofs from the 1960s and 1970s were often simple, then a renovation added a second story or a front gable. Include the garage and one side in the photo so that added footage is in the first look. We still walk the property, or work from photos, before we price the linear feet.
